Apple Hill Farms in Waynesville, NC has closed.  We at …just simply delicious are saddened by all of the events that occurred surrounding this wedding venue.

Although it is not our place to comment on the details of the closure, our thoughts are with the brides, grooms and their families that have been effected.   We are working with our AHF brides to help them in any capacity we can such as helping them find other venues and making modifications to their orders where necessary.

We wish the wedding couples all the best and are very sorry this has happened.

Below is our original post:

One of the most beautiful natural settings for any outdoor event is Apple Hill Farms.  The property offers a unique alternative with a tranquil, natural springs setting, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

This awe-inspiring renovation of the Plott Family Farm boasts multiple event locations. History tells us the Plott family members were apple growers and the current guest house – soon to be a honeymoon cottage was once the apple processing barn. North Carolina’s state dog, the Plott Hound was bred on this land, donning the family name.

This reinvented location is perfect for weddings, family reunions, baby and wedding showers, business meetings, private dinners and more. Dining and dancing will soon be common in a converted corn crib, now referred to as the Summer House Pavilion. This building will accommodate up to 80 seated guests or more if your event is cocktail style. The original farm house included an outside kitchen. Now fitted with a glass chandelier this Dining Room offers a private, intimate dining experience for eight. For larger groups, picturesque garden areas can accommodate up to 150 guests.
