Congratulations to Grayson and Steven! Introducing the Grandview Lodge in Waynesville, NC

We were honored to be part of Grayson and Steven’s wedding this September.  They were married at the Palmer Chapel in Cataloochee.  Their wedding was special to me in a number of ways.  First of all, they brought me personally back to my childhood…  my grandparents lived in Little Cataloochee when they were children and I can still remember attending family reunions at another of Cataloochee’s historical churches, the Little Cataloochee Baptist Church, where my great grandparents were members.

Secondly, one of the best parts of our job is that we have the opportunity to work with some very memorable people.  And Becky, the mother of the bride

is no exception. It was such a pleasure working with her.   Grayson and

Steven’s wedding was a destination wedding and as the date drew near, Becky and I were talking and realized that the entire wedding was planned over the

phone.  All the venues and vendors.  No one had ever met.  That takes a lot of courage and a bit of faith

After the wedding, Becky said Waynesville did not disappoint.

Their reception was held at the Grandview Lodge in Waynesville, NC.  The Grandview’s combination of venue and lodging made it the perfect location for their destination wedding.  With a full kitchen Grandview Lodge served chef-inspired foods with superior service.

At Grandview Lodge, you’ll find a variety of outdoor settings with lush landscaping and gardens, or have your event on their  open-air deck overlooking the mountains. They can accommodate up to 100 guests for an event, and can also add lodging for 34 of your guests. For more information about Grandview Lodge, please visit their website.
