Answer:¬† A person who plays the hurdy gurdy. I‚Äôm old enough to remember the hurdy gurdy song.¬† Now I finally know what a hurdy gurdy is! International Festival Day Celebration was a Great Success

Main Street Waynesville was alive with color, costumes, guests from across the pond, music, dancing, food and just about everything else.¬†¬† If you didn’t make it, then take a look at what you missed and be sure to mark the date in your calendar for next year.¬† Folkmoot ended last night in a Candlelight Closing in Lake Junaluska.¬† We wish all our guests a safe and memory filled trip home.

Saturday is the 25th Annual International Festival Day Celebration! Once again, Main Street Waynesville, NC, ¬†is transformed into a world bazaar featuring arts and crafts from around the world, international and local cuisine, and performances by the Folkmoot USA dancers. The Haywood County Arts Council is also entertaining the kids with a stop in their ‚ÄúPassport to the Arts‚Äù children‚Äôs area.
